1997 Walz Hardcore Chopper Description
1997 Walz Hardcore Chopper, this bike is a Walz Hardcore original, built by Marcus Walz himself in 1997. I purchased this bike right out of his headquarters shop in Hockenheim, Germany. I have the invoice from the purchase and the title is clear. The bike was originally built for a little over $50,000 Euro. I also just renewed the registration thru Feburary of 2011. The bike is in outstanding condition and runs great! At every bike show and custom shop I have ridden to, everybody is blown away by the custom engineering and “Old School” style of this bike. It is a true original unlike any other bike you have ever seen. Pictures do not do this bike justice. If you know anything about Walz Hardcore Cycles, you know that this bike, being an early original is extremely rare and extremely valuable and will only continue to appreciate in value over time as Marcus Walz has become one of the very best custom bike builders in the world. If you do not know about him, he won the 2006 Discovery Channel Biker Build Off and the 2007 European Biker Build Off. His bikes sell for over $100,000 and you would have to get on a waiting list to get one. This bike is powered by a 97ci S & S engine and brought to a stop by duel 6 piston caliper Performance Machine brakes. The bike has Performance Machine foot and hand controls as well as a Springer front end. The drag style handle bars are clean and completely gauge free. The back tire is a brand new 230 tire. I also just got a complete tune up done April 4th 2009, so the bike is tip top right now. The only blemish on the bike is a small crack on the license plate mount. It is an Eruo size plate mount and it is on the excess part. It is almost unnoticeable unless you are looking for it. Bike has too many great parts to list, but proceed with confidence knowing the Walz Hardcore Cycles has never built bikes with anything less than what they consider to be the very best parts!
